客户监控系统告警频繁提示数据库xx的死锁增长数值超过阈值,达到1.00。通过深入分析,发现主要故障现象包括ORA-60 errors logged in the alert logs, indicating an active deadlock situation. By examining the trace logs, we identified that the deadlock was caused by the database itself, with several trace logs showing a similar pattern. A key insight was that the deadlock was of the Single resource type, and the deadlock occurred between transactions trying to modify the same row in the TX_xxxx_xxxxx_xxxx table. This situation is commonly associated with missing index on foreign keys.
To understand the root cause, we retrieved the table creation statements and analyzed the constraints. It was observed that the table in question, T8_BOND_ACC_XXXXXXX, had a foreign key referencing the primary key ID column of TX_XXXX_XXXXX_XXXX. The lack of an index on the foreign key was a critical factor contributing to the deadlock.
To address the issue, an index was created on the foreign key column TX_XXXXX_XXXX_ID of the T8_BOND_ACC_XXXXXXX table during a period of low business activity. This intervention was aimed at reducing the likelihood of deadlocks by improving data access performance.
It is important to note that the specific SQL statement for creating an index, including considerations for online creation or parallel processing, should adhere to the operational guidelines and best practices of the organization.
